CONCEPT & OBJECTIVE

In order to contribute to the Global Peace Movement, we believe that the concept of Peace should establish as first within self, within each countries as well as with their neighbors. Turkey and Greece had long criticial period, and there were a lot ups and downs time to time. Since the terrorist Abdullah Ocalan's arrest and unfortunate eartquakes in both countries, which have lead to a new political era and social climate between Turkey and Greece.

Thus, Turkish & Greek Synergy web site is aimed to create a platform for Turkish-Americans and Greek-Americans in the US and globally in order to promote peace and culture in between the two countries as well as in between these two communities in the US.

If we are able to solve or to come up with a consessus for the long lasting problems on the political platform, this process will lead us to many unthinkable positive emergences between two countries and promtly elevate our countries positions internationally.

Regarding to serving to our objective;, our goal is to reach the widest population in the US, Turkey, Greece and around the world, who are concerned on the issues in order to expand the ideas of "peace is in our hands" and "peace is possible". We invite the two countries of people, Turkish-Americans, Greek-Americans, as well as others to be part of this platform by contributing "your" own ideas and intellectual creatings.

We also have planned to organize cultural events such as concerts, art exhibitions, film festivals and producing documentaries and television programs on the subject in the near future.
